I bought the Red Sea nano roller to hopefully help with not having to change filter socks everyday with my office aquarium. Well I couldn’t be happier! This thing is awesome!!! No modifications, Just drop and plug in. So far my first roll has lasted a month and a half and it’s still got 1/4 roll left to go. It filters really well. It’s quiet and does everything a roller should do. In fact I liked it so much I bought a second one for my max nano at home. Working like a charm!!! Thankyou Reefnroll
Based of the size of the Red Sea Nano Max Peninsula. I didnt think a fleece roller was a thing. Came across this on a facebook group and was tired of dealing with filter socks getting full in a day so i pulled the trigger and bought this. Best investment to date.
I just replaced my first roll (after about 4 weeks). It was very easy to do. Set up was relatively easy (but the print directions could be a bit more clear).
As far as filtration goes it works 1000 times better than the stock filter sock. My nitrates and phosphates have dropped significantly since I have started using it.
